1) Discussion should be related to Comic in General Comic Forum no where on any other forum on message board. Topic titles (subjects) must be descriptive of the topic. Creation of "bait" subjects is not permited.
2) Signatures should be no more than 5 lines long. Images in signatures are permitted but should be no more than 45 pixels in height (75% of a banner) and 300 pixels in width. Sigs should never be the majority of a post. If your signature is longer than your post disable it.
3) Many people first come to forum to ask questions on how or why... Please treat them with respect. Do not respond to questions from new visitors with sarcasm and/or hostility. While the answers may be obvious to you (because you're such a knowledgeable and intelligent person) they might not be quite so obvious to those that are less versed in the ways of Anime. Even if you think it's just common sense and that the questioner is lacking it, please be polite in your responses. If you are unable to provide a polite answer, then don't say anything at all.
4) Admins will apply an ex-post facto rule to banning or removal of posting privs. Basically, if we feel it is necessary to make a rule because of one of your posts, then you cannot be banned or have posting privs revoked. Your post however may be deleted or edited.
5) Quoting - Please quote the relevant part of a person's message, and only the relevant part. Lack of quotes can make a topic hard to follow, on the other hand overabundant quoting serves no purpose but to waste bandwidth.
6) If a thread is locked by an Admin the topic is not to be immediately brought up in a new (or another already existing) thread. It has been closed because the admins do not want to see the conversation proceed any further.
7) (Privacy Statement)
The information you enter during your registration is stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent we cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
8) This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any information about you, they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure by saving your forum settings. Your email address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one). Your IP address will be logged with each post but will only be viewable to administrators and moderators.
9) While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or Anime Dreamer (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
